Puritas AI Assistants

At Puritas Springs Software, we’re bullish on AI, and we want to ensure our users make the most of this exciting new technology.

AI tools are evolving fast. There are new models, new features, and new platforms almost weekly. It’s tempting to chase everything at once, but that can lead to a confusing experience for users. We’ve seen enough technology cycles to know that moving too quickly in too many directions usually creates more problems than it solves.

Your goal should be to use AI where it helps your clients in a meaningful way, while keeping the experience predictable, accurate, and aligned with how our software is used.

Why We Use ChatGPT (For Now)

Rather than spreading effort across multiple AI platforms, we’ve chosen to build our current AI assistants using GPTs on OpenAI’s platform.

There are a few reasons behind this choice. First, ChatGPT has been in widespread real-world use longer than most alternatives, giving us confidence in its behavior across a wide range of scenarios.

Another key factor is personalization. Custom GPTs let us quickly build assistants tailored to our software without prohibitive overhead. This lets us focus on accuracy, relevance, and usability.

Finally, many of our customers already use ChatGPT in their day-to-day work, which means there’s little to no learning curve. They can access our AI assistants in a familiar environment and see value immediately, without adopting yet another tool or platform.

That said, we’re closely monitoring how the landscape evolves and aim to expand our AI integration in thoughtful ways. But for now, standardization on a simple platform helps us deliver better results without constantly reworking our tools.

How We Build Puritas AI Assistants

Our AI assistants aren’t general-purpose chatbots. Each one is designed around a specific program and audience.

Here’s a guide to our approach.

1. Custom Instructions

We start with detailed instructions based on how our customers actually use Puritas software. This includes common questions, typical pain points, and the level of detail users expect.

2. Legal References

Each assistant is grounded in the legal context it supports. We include relevant statutes, procedural rules, and form-specific guidance that align with the software’s purpose. This helps keep responses focused and avoids drifting into irrelevant or misleading territory.

3. Technical References

We incorporate our own manuals, FAQs, and other supporting documentation that customers regularly rely on. This allows the AI to explain not just what to do, but how to do it.

What’s next?

As we mentioned, the AI space is changing rapidly, and what works well today can be quickly overtaken by new tools. We view AI as a long-term companion to our software. Our goal is to leverage AI to improve our product, so we are always focused on consistency and trust.

We encourage you to try our AI assistants and tell us what works, what doesn’t, and where they fall short. Just like with our apps, practical feedback helps us shape tools that are genuinely useful, and we are always glad to receive it.
