Sometimes our new programs get blocked by web browsers or Windows 11’s Smart Screen until they build up a reputation as safe. Rest assured, our software is completely safe to download and install.
If you’re having trouble using one of our download links, please review the instructions below.
Microsoft Edge
Edge asks twice. Both prompts are shown below.
-
Click the downloads icon — the downward arrow in the toolbar, near the top right — to open the Downloads panel.
-
Click the three dots … to the right of the file name, then choose Keep.
The Downloads panel in Edge. Choose Keep from the menu. -
Edge asks you to confirm. Click the small arrow beside Delete, then click Keep anyway.
Note the publisher line in this dialog — it should read Puritas Springs Software. -
The download finishes. Click Open file to start the installer.
Google Chrome
The wording differs slightly, but the sequence is the same.
Click the downloads icon in the toolbar to open the Downloads panel.
Click the three dots … next to the file name, then choose Keep.
If Chrome asks again, choose Keep anyway or Download anyway.
Click the file name to start the installer.
Not sure which browser you’re using? Look at the icon you click to get on the internet. A blue-and-green wave is Microsoft Edge. A red, yellow, green and blue circle is Google Chrome.
One more prompt when the installer opens
Windows may show a blue screen reading “Windows protected your PC.” This is the same check, applied a second time.
Click More info. A publisher line appears.
Confirm it reads Puritas Springs Software.
Click Run anyway. The installer proceeds normally from there.
Still stuck?
Call or email and we’ll walk you through it while you’re at your computer. There’s no charge, and it usually takes a couple of minutes.
